  hello everyone, i haven't been on the site for ages.

  hubby bought a new pc, and it's taken forever to transfer everything etc.

  also, he's been writing loads of software so i haven't had any time to log in.

  a few weeks ago i saw dansk's thread about stem cell donation, so i went to my gp to enquire about it.

  he arranged for me to have blood tests to make sure everything was in order and that i wasn't anaemic or anything.

  yesterday, i went back to discuss the results and it turns out that i have a thyroid problem (underactive, i think).

  Mother's Day - bought my first card & gift!

  i bought flowers and a card for my step-mum.

  i haven't known her very long, but she's a real sweetheart.

  (non jw, of course).

  Snowed in again !

  we're snowed in for the second day running.

  trouble is, none of us saw the weather forecast and now we've got hardly any milk or bread!

  (i couldn't get this site to work yesterday, either, so i couldn't cheer myself up.

  What a WONDERFUL couple!!!

  i have to let everyone know, (those who haven't met them), what a warm, friendly, welcoming couple kaytee & twinkletoes are.

  we were invited to their home yesterday for lunch and we really enjoyed ourselves.

  we felt very 'at home' with them, and the food was fabulous.

  True story or JW Folklore?

  a few years back, i was told a story by a 'mature sister' about a man who was df'ed after his death, just before his burial.

  apparently, they found voodoo related necklaces etc.

  under his clothing.
